About Me

My photo
Mary
I attribute my talent to the goodness of God and give Him all the glory. The beginnings of talent showed up at age five, when I did some uncommissioned murals on our wallpaper! Being a professional portrait artist over the span of 19 years has been a very rewarding part of my life and has enabled me to touch hundreds of people with treasured pieces of Art. My style is photo-realistic and I work on velour for the most part with pastels or conte, and an occasional oil. My delighted clients are all over the U.S. and a few outside our boundaries. Also, it is a joy to teach Art to wonderful students at New Hope Christian Academy in Minneola, FL. Another side of me..You might know me as Mary Ganster of OPERATION SAFETY 91, a non profit organization created by my husband, Ed and myself to honor and protect America's 1st Responders, active, retired and veteran: firefighters, EMS, law enforcement and military. It is a passion for me to protect Responders with the message of Psalm 91, God's Covenant of Protection and with Psalm 91 books.
